Puzzle by the Vermont Christmas Company: Irresistible Italy. I love Italy, and this puzzle was fun as it pulls together a sunset, mountain range, architecture, and florals – all things you’d find in other highly detailed puzzles but not normally all in one place.
Jo found this one for me – a 500 piece New England Patriots puzzle of a barnyard scene. Lots of small detail in the animals faces, tails, etc – plus the structure of the barn.

So I get (and appreciate) that brands are trying to be more sensitive in their messaging. But does it really help that in lieu of what might be two dozen Father’s Day promotional emails, we’re moving in the direction of this:
If I’m going to get a bunch of those for every potentially sensitive holiday (which is all of them in one way or another, isn’t it?) can I just unsubscribe altogether?

Another “impulse” purchase before the holidays in the line at Marshall’s – a “vintage” butterflies puzzle. Very intricate individual butterflies, all numbered and labelled at the bottom – very complicated puzzle to do but enjoyable.
